Bees
It was an eventful first year of keeping bees in association with the nursery.
Having been called out to many swarm sightings we caught over 10 swarms and have housed 5 at the nursery (one since then lost to hornets).
We now have honey and furniture polishes ready to sell.
Our first ‘meet the bees’ afternoon was very well received, as was our honey tasting session.
We will be hosting some more ‘meet the bees’ afternoons this year as well as some introductory bee-keeping courses - keep watching this space or get in touch with us if you just can’t wait!
